Morganne Talley – Ministry Intern
Morganne is a life-long member of Madison Heights Baptist Church and a freshman at Lynchburg College, majoring in Religious Studies and plans to go to seminary afterwards to pursue God’s call into ministry. A few of her goals include earning a Master’s of Divinity and becoming ordained. This summer, Morganne had the opportunity to have her dream job (so far) and work at Camp Crossroads in Lowesville, VA. She plans to continue to do similar ministry work in the future. Morganne is a Waffle House, Target, and Camp Crossroads enthusiast. She also enjoys reading, playing the piano, occasionally napping, and wearing shark costumes. During her internship, Morganne hopes to learn more of what it looks like to be a part of ministry from the church staff point of view. She also hopes to have a better idea of how to minister more thoroughly and effectively.
John DeWitt – Ministry Intern
John is in his sophomore year at Liberty University. This summer, he served in his home church, Second Baptist Church in Richmond, as the student ministries intern. He enjoys watching baseball and football and playing softball. The most important thing about John is his love of Jesus. John has been called into vocational ministry and, in this internship, he wants to not only learn more about ministry, but build lasting relationships. He looks forward to working in many areas of ministry this fall.
