Layney Skinner  Nursery Leader

Layney was born and raised in Amherst County.  She has been a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church her whole life.  Layney graduated Bluefield College in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Marketing.  She also played college volleyball and softball while at Bluefield College.  Layney works For the Bedford County Tourism Department, as the Marketing and Administrative Coordinator.  She has been volunteering with children ministries since middle school at the church and started working  this position in 2018.  Layney also got married in 2018 to Joseph Skinner who is a graduate of Liberty University and Jefferson Health Sciences and is now a Physical Therapist Assistant.  They have two dogs, Dakota and Cullen.
