Children & Youth

We take very seriously the opportunities we have to train the next generation of believers in discipleship, and to show them the love of Jesus in fun and meaningful ways. We also provide a variety of ways for students to lead worship in the church and serve the community. In the summer, regular Wednesday night activities pause.
Look below for our SUMMER youth and kids activities, and find any forms you may need for an event.

Sunday Schedule

Nursery (0-3 years old)

9:45am – Nursery open during Sunday School
11am – Nursery open for worship hour (children can be brought before the service)

Preschool (4 - Kindergarten)
9:45am – Sunday School taught in the lower level of the building (children’s wing is first door on left from stairwell.)
11:45am – Kids should sit with family for the beginning of the service, or the front pew with children’s leader until Pre-K Worship.
Kids (1st-5th Grades)
9:45am – Sunday School taught in the lower level of the building (children’s wing is first door on left from stairwell.)
11am – Kids 1st grade and up worship with adults in the sanctuary, where activity bags are provided for each child. 
Youth (6-12th Grades)
9:45am – Sunday School taught in the lower level of the building (youth room is the first door on the right from the stairwell.)
11am – Youth worship in the sanctuary with adults.

Church Picnic & Pool Party – June 13

We will be returning to Eagle Eyrie on Saturday, June 13 from 3-7pm for our annual pool party and picnic at the picnic shelter. Eagle Eyrie’s pool is unmatched, the food is delicious, and the bingo is JUST the right level of competition–you don’t want to miss it!

All participants are asked to bring a side and/or dessert to share!

Vacation Bible School – June 22-26

Join us on the slope as we gear up for the “Snowball Mountain Challenge!” Children ages 4 years old through completed 5th grade are invited to join us for this fun-filled and God-centered week of learning, play, and fun. VBS takes place each day of the week from 9am-Noon.

Registration happens the first day kids are dropped off to participate.

Worship & Arts Camp – July 13-17

Completed 4th-12th Grade students are invited to participate in this week dedicated to singing, instruments, performance, and art in worship. Students sign up for their preferred tracks and stay at Eagle Eyrie together as a church for the week. Cost to participate is $175.

Mens’ Camping Trip – July 31 – Aug 3

Mark your calendars now for this annual tradition! Our men and boys will be returning to Holliday Lake State Park this summer to continue our decades long tradition of camping, cooking, playing, and doing Bible study together as we grow closer to one another and learn from what another how to grow up to be the men God calls us to be. Cost is $50.

MHBC Summer Fun Days!

We will be hosting a variety of different fun days throughout the summer in addition to our big trips and events. To signup for the events, call the church office.
